Shops In Mangalore Need To follow These Rules: Failing To Which License Will Get Cancelled

September 24: Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner (DC) Dr Rajendra K V has informed that all the shops in the district must adhere to the covid 19 guidelines.
The responsibility of ensuring employees as well as customers use face masks and maintain social distance lies on the shop owner.  A penalty of Rs 1000 will be payable on first offence. Second and third time violation will attract penalty of Rs 2000 and Rs 3000 respectively and if the violations are observed on more than three occasions, the shop licenses would be cancelled.
He also listed other measures to be adopted by shopkeepers such as
1. Installing automatic sanitizer system outside shops
2. Daily health-checkup of employees
3. Sanitizing shop premises once in three days.
4. Thermal screening of customers. If any customer displays symptoms of fever their details to be noted and intimated to the health officer of their jurisdiction or city corporation.
