Simultaneous raids in Bantwal: 130 persons arrested

April 15: Bantwal police raids two recreation clubs which was operating in the town and arrested nearly 130 persons on Sunday, April 14. The raid was conducted by the police on suspicions of gambling and other video games in progress without license.
Sub-inspector Chandrashekha and team conducted simultaneous raids on the clubs which are located at two commercial complexes. Cash, mobiles, gaming cards and other items were seized by the police.
Some people who were in one of these clubs threw their jewelry, cash and mobile phones down from the complex during raids to escape from the Police.
