Smart Pole Project Under Mangalore Smart City Ltd Likely To Be Ready By September End: Check Out

July 28: Smart poles’ that are being set up under smart city project in Mangalore is likely to be completed by September end.
The smart pole has four directional and one PTZ camera to help in the law and order and traffic surveillance efforts of Mangalore City Police through its own network of CCTV cameras will have a SOS button embedded on the pole. A 2 feet x 3 feet digital display board on the pole will help in displaying messages from district administration and other government departments. This board will be upgraded to colour will also help MCC to earn revenue through advertisements.
One such pole has been  set up at Kadri-Mallikatte for demonstration of live feed to the command control centre of Mangalore Smart City Ltd.
