Special Train Between Bangalore & Mangalore During Dasara: Here are the Details
September 28: The South Western Railway (SWR) will operate a Suvidha Dasara special train between Bangalore and Mangalore to clear extra rush of passengers.
The Bangalore -Mangalore service (82655) would start from Yeshwantpur on October 4 at 10.20 p.m. to reach Mangalore Junction at 8.30 a.m. the next day via Shravanabelagola and Hassan, the Mangalore -Bangalore service (82656) would start on October 8 from Mangalore Junction at 10.15 p.m. to reach Yelahanka at 8 a.m. the next day via Hassan, Shravanabelagola, and Yeshwantpur bypass. The train would comprise one 3-Tier AC coach, 12 second class sleeper coaches, and two luggage-cum-brake vans.
Several people from Bangalore would be travelling to Mangalore during the Navarathri to attend celebrations which is celebrated with grandeur particularly at Mangaladevi, Kudroli, Sri venkatraman Temple, Kateel, Kollur.
