Srinidhi Shetty Becomes The First Mangalore Based Actress to Have a 1000 Cr Blockbuster Movie

From the day of its release, Yash-starrer KGF Chapter 2 has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide. Becomes 4th film after Dangal, Baahubali2 & RRR to achieve this monumental feat. KGF 2 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj. The film also had to brave mixed to negative reviews to become a winner with the moviegoers. KGF 2 which is the sequel to 2018’s KGF, is produced on a budget of ₹100 crore (US$13 million).

With this, Srinidhi Shetty becomes the first Mangalore based actress to have a 1000 cr blockbuster movie. Born in a Tulu speaking, Bunt family in Mulki, Srinidhi has made her name in the film industry.

She was crowned as Miss Diva Supranational 2016 at the Miss Diva – 2016 pageant and later represented India at Miss Supranational 2016, which she won. She is the second Indian representative to have won this title. She has appeared in Kannada and Tamil films.
