Strict Action to be Taken Against Foreign Nationals Illegally Staying in Dakshina Kannada: Much Needed

Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has asked the Mangalore City police to speed up the process of tracing foreign nationals and to arrest those found without valid documents. The minister mentioned that action on foreign nationals is necessitated after the recent arrest in Bengaluru Rural of people who were involved in issuing fake Aadhaar card and other documents to foreign nationals. There is a mechanism by which the State Police keep track of the movement of foreign nationals which has to be strengthened.

On the operations of satellite phones in the coastal region, Minister Jnanendra said that the State Police are taking assistance from the Central investigation agencies in tracing operations of satellite phones.
