Strict Implementation of Night Curfew Between 10 pm-5 am in Udupi District: More Information

Udupi District Deputy commissioner (DC) G Jagadeesha has ordered for the strict implementation of night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am in the district till further orders. The DC has issued a list of rules which has to be followed by the people in the district. Social, political and cultural programmes will not permitted. Marriages will be allowed with just 100 guests. Institutions related to higher education are allowed to conduct classes following the covid appropriate behaviour. Students, teaching and non-teaching staffs should have taken atleast one dose of the vaccination. Strict action will be taken against the restaurants, malls, and other places if violation of the Covid norms are reported.
