Strict Measures To Be Taken To Contain Covid 19 In Dakshina Kannada : Minister Poojary

April 27: As the number of Covid 19 case is on the rise in Dakshina Kannada district, the minister in charge of the district, Kota Srinivasa Poojari has suggested stringent measures to be taken in the district if necessary.
An emergency meeting of district-level officials, led by ministers and MPs, was held at the Bantwal Tourist Center regarding this.
The Minister made it clear that there will be no exception in Lockdown until May 3 in Bantwal.
DK had total of 19 Covidi cases were reported in the district, of which 12 cases were discharged from the hospital. Two people have died and the remaining cases are being tracked. In the meantime, 198 patients at First Neuro Hospital and others have been tested. Of these, 49 cases were reported, 48 were negative and only one was positive.
