Surathkal Toll Gate to be Shifted to NMPT: Finally Some Decision Taken
Surathkal Toll gate will soon be shifted to the premises of the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA). Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, has instructed the NHAI to shift the toll gate to NMPA area as it has been causing inconvenience to people. The decision was taken in a meeting in Delhi on March 15. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that toll from only such vehicles which enter and exit from the port will be collected later
