Suratkal Area Declared Containment Zone As One Tests Positive: DC Sindhu Rupesh

May 15: There is an increase in coronavirus cases in Dakshina Kannada on May 15 with 16 persons testing positive for the infection.
After a 68-year-old woman from Suratkal tested positive, DC Sindhu has declared the area as a containment zone.
Among the returnees 15 persons, including three members of a same family tested positive for coronavirus. Swab test results of 125 persons, who have been placed in institutional quarantine has been received today and a second test will be done on the 12th day, she added.
