Surveillance Across Mangalore City: Smart Cameras To Be Installed At 15 Junctions

June 11: Smart CC cameras are being installed at major junctions in the city to keep an eye on the daily growth of the city. In the first phase, the camera will be installed at 15 junctions in the city. This will help the city police to uncover the secrets of murder, extortion and other crimes in the city.
These cameras can captures videos even at night. The poles installed at each of the junctions will have a 360-degree camera, as well as a separate 4-camera. These are useful for capturing the surrounding movement. The smartphone is equipped with a smart display that enables all people to get information. This smart poll will have an antenna booster and a mobile charging plug point.
All CCs installed in the city are monitored at the smart city office in the city’s policy office. In the Smart Poll at 15 junctions there will be an “SOS code button”. Those who go to the area can press the button if the situation is urgent. Then the call goes to the command center in the city’s smart city office.
The first stage work has already begun at Mallikattu, Pumpwell, Vamanjur, Padil, Bejai, Bendoor, Falnir, Morgan’s Gate, Kulasekhar-Shakti Nagar Cross, Kottara Chowki, Kunttikana, Rao and Rao circle, Padavinangadi, Kavoor Junction.
