Swift Action Taken By Beach Guards at Malpe: Three Students Rescued From Drowning

Three students of Shivamogga origin Nitin, Manjunath and Kiran, all 19 years of age who were drowning in the Malpe beach were rescued by the Malpe Beach Guards on September 22, Wednesday afternoon. The three had come to Malpe beach with a group of other students from a college in Shivamogga in a bus. It is learnt, the three were swept away by the tidal waves who were immediately Life Guard Madhukar Salian and some others by their swift action.
