Team of Technical Experts Inspect Maravoor Bridge: Any Decision Taken on What Will be Done Next?

A team of technical experts from Bangalore which inspected the cracked Maravoor bridge which connect Mangalore city to Mangalore International Airport which recently developed major cracks leading to suspension of vehicular movement on the bridge.
The team led by R K Jaigopal, is expected to draw a plan for the repair of the bridge within two days and is hopeful that the bridge which is a vital link to the Mangalore International Airport could be repaired in a month’s time. A team from Kerala is already constructing a platform to facilitate the repair of the bridge and is hopeful of completing the work in 25 to 30 days.
