Temporary Repair of Maravoor Bridge in Full Swing: Work Likely to be Completed by July End

The temporary repair of the Maravoor bridge that has developed a crack is being carried out on full swing: Mulky-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, scrutinised the progress of the repair work on June 24, Thursday and mentioned that once the bridge is repaired, light vehicles will be allowed on the bridge. Also, the new bridge is being constructed by the side of the damaged bridge and once it is completed, it will b open for vehicular traffic. The contractor and the engineers have expressed the confidence of completing the work by end of July.
