The Active Number of Covid-19 Cases in DK District Falls: Lowest Since June 2020

The active number of Covid-19 cases in Dakshina Kannada district has dropped to less than 100, which is the lowest since June 2020. The district had an average of 12 new cases per day over the previous three weeks in November, the active cases dropped to 96 on Sunday. At present, only 30 Covid patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals, whereas, 66 patients are being treated at home in isolation.

The health department officials have informed that the district will continue to monitor the situation with a focus on prevent the spread of virus.
