The Countdown Begins for Mangalore Lit Festival: Here Are The Details

November 13: The first edition of literature fest in Mangalore was held in 2018 on the theme ‘The Idea of Bharat’.
The countdown for second edition of Mangalore Lit Fest 2019 has begun. The lit fest with theme ‘The Idea of Bharat – Today and Tomorrow’gets under way at the TMA Pai International Convention Centre on November 29 and 30.
The Mangalore lit Fest is organised by the Mangalore Literary Foundation, a group of like-minded individuals. the organisers are giving final touches to various sessions and events.
Ganesh Karnik, the convener of Mangalore Lit Fest 2019 said that ever since the first teaser of the event was posted on Twitter handle @mlrlitfest in early September, the organisational wheels have been churning.
As many as 45 eminent literary, political and ideological persons confirm their attendance for the two-day event. Some of the important guests who will attend the Mangalore lit fest are Gen G D Bakshi (retd), strategic affairs expert, Anurag Thakur, Union minister of state for finance and corporate affairs, Malavika Avinash- actor, Smita Prakash – editor-in-chief, ANI, Savio Rodrigues – editor-in-chief, Goa Chronicle.
