The First Tejas Express In The State To Ply Between Mangalore & Coimbatore: Here Are The Details

March 3:  The first Tejas Express in the state which will ply between Mangalore and Coimbatore will be starting service soon. Tejas Express is government’s maiden attempt in the privatization of Indian Railways. It is a high-speed rail service between Indian cities.
The Tejas will depart from Mangalore at 6 am and arrive at Coimbatore at 12:10 pm. From Coimbatore, it will depart from 2:30 pm and reach Mangalore at 8:40 pm. The service will run six days a week except on Monday, details on the website quoted. The ticket fares of the service are not yet confirmed.
