The International Level Swimming Pool in Yemmekere, Mangalore to Open For Public Within Ten Days

The Olympic standard swimming pool at Yemmekere which was completed recently under Mangalore Smart city initiative is all set to open for public within 10 days. The swimming pool was inaugurated on November 24, 2023. The main pool measures 50 meters in length & 25 meters in width with a depth of 2.2 meters. A practice swimming pool measuring 25 meters height 10 meters width & 2.2 meters depth is also available. Along with this a miniature swimming pool for kids with 13.8 height, 10 meters width & 1.2 meters depth is also constructed.

Each section of the swimming pool will be equipped with a dedicated coach and safeguard for the safety of the public. Preparations are underway for swimming camps as summer vacations are nearing. Final preparations are being done to welcome the general public soon.
