The Mangalore Branch of SIRC of ICAI Organized One Day Bank Audit Seminar

The Mangalore Branch of SIRC of ICAI organized an One Day Seminar on Bank Audit on 19th March 2022 at it’s ICAI Bhawan, Padil. The seminar was attended by around 200 delegates & the seminar centered around equipping Members for the ensuing Bank Audit assignment in the month of April.

CA. Prafulla Kumar Samal, CFO, Union Bank of India, Mumbai was the Chief Guest who addressed the delegates on “Changing Dimensions of Bank Audit & Expectations from Bank Branch Audit. CA. Cotha S. Srinivas, Central Council Member, ICAI was the Guest of Honour who enlightened the delegates on the Role & importance CA’s have & also his experience of Bank Audit.

The Seminar was addressed by specialists in the field which included CA. Srinivasan M from Chennai, CA. Sridhar Kamath M. from Udupi & Dr. Siva Rama Prasad from Hyderabad.

The Chairman of the Branch CA. Prasanna Shenoy M. welcomed the gathering, the Secretary CA. Gautham Pai D. proposed the Vote of Thanks. The inaugural was compered by CA. Hastha Narayan & thereafter by CA. Mamta Rao, the Managing Committee Member.

Vice Chairman CA. Gautham Nayak M., Treasurer CA. Prashanth Pai K., SICASA Chairman CA. Daniel Pereira, & Past Chairmen of the Branch were also present.
