The Two-Day ‘Bahusamskriti Utsava’ (Multi-Cultural Festival) Postponed Due to Heavy Rainfall in Mangalore

The two-day ‘Bahusamskriti Utsava’ (multi-cultural festival) scheduled to be organised by the State government in Mangalore from Tuesday has been postponed in view of high rainfall alert. Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada M. P. Mullai Muhilan said in a statement that the festival will not be held in view of cyclone Fengal.

Karnataka Tulu, Konkani, Beary, Kodava, Are Bhashe, Yakshagana and district administrations of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu and Mangalore City Corporation had planned the festival at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall.
