Mangalore International Airport currently has direct non-stop domestic flights to Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Pune, and Hyderabad. However, MIA is yet to connect directly to several other major cities, and there is demand to start at least one or two flights a week. According to sources from an air carrier operating from MIA, so far there is no updates to start or add additional flights. However, SpiceJet is planning to return and add two flights per day to the Bengaluru route in the coming days.
