These Express Special Trains Will be Renumbered as Passenger Trains From January 1: Here Are The Details

In line with the Railway Board’s decision to renumber passenger trains that are being operated as “Express Specials,” the Palakkad division of Southern Railway will renumber 47 trains, including a few operating out of Mangaluru.

Train No. 06601 Madgaon-Mangalore Central Express Special will be renumbered Train No. 56615 Madgaon-Mangalore Central Passenger.
Train No. 06602, will be renumbered Train No. 56616, Mangalore Central-Madgaon Passenger.
Train No. 06491 Charvattur-Mangalore Central Express Special will be renumbered Train No. 56621 Charvattur-Mangalore Central Passenger.

Three pairs of services between Mangalore Central-Puttur/ Subrahmanya Road too will be renumbered.
Train No. 06485/06484 Mangalore Central-Kabakaputtur-Mangaluru Central Express Special will be renumbered as Train No. 56625/56626 Passenger.
Train No. 06487/06486 Mangalore Central-Kabakaputtur-Mangaluru Express special will be renumbered as Train No. 56627/56628 Passgner. Train No. 06489/06488 Mangaluru Central-Subrahmanya Road-Mangalore Central Express Special will be renumbered as Train No. 56629/56630 Passenger.

Meanwhile, Train No. 06477/06478 Kannur-Mangalore Central-Kannur Express Special will be renumbered as Train No. 56717/56718 Passenger.
