These Two Mangalorean Girls Will Represent India at Senior World Muaythai Championship 2021 – Thailand
Mangalorean girls Anwitha Alva & Anisha shetty will be representing India at the Senior World Muaythai Championship 2021, bangtok, Thailand from 5th to 12th December organized by International Federation of Muaythai Amatuer (IFMA) recognised by International Olympic Committee. Anwitha is the D/O Jayaram Alva & Shubha Shetty Surathkal and Anisha is the D/O Rathnakar Sehtty & Vani Shetty.
They have been trained since 2016 at Monkey Mayhem Fight Club Mangalore becoming the first the Female Muaythai atheltes from Mangalore and currently one of the best Muaythai Female Fighters from India by being mutiple times National Champions and winning pro leagues like Women’s Muaythai league 2018 J&K and Pro India Muaythai League. They have also bagged international medals at WMF world championships held in Thaialnd in 2017 and Anwitha winning bronze in IFMA World Championship in 2019 , Thailand before the pandemic. Anisha started working at Dubai and also recently became UAE National champion.
