This is How Life in Mangalore is Getting Back to Normal After the Curfew

December 23: After the curfew was relaxed in Mangalore from 6 am to 6 pm on Sunday, the life in the city began returning to normalcy.  The curfew will be lifted on completely on Monday morning. However, the prohibitory orders under Section 144 will continue in the city.
Citizens are seen going to Central Market as well as fish and meat markets. Street vendors are seen offering attractive discounts to customers.

A majority of the business establishments and hotels remained open in the city. The roads that had worn a deserted look for the last two days are  buzzing with activities. The KSRTC and private buses in the city resumed their services and are plying on their regular routes. Hundreds of crates with fish were loaded on to vehicles to be transported to different destinations.

The police had strengthened security in different parts of the city.
