A good news to all Mangaloreans! Mangala swimming pool which was closed for renovation & repair work last july has been reopened. The pool is owned by Mangalore city corporation is now equipped with ozonation plant to treat water.

The pool has been made available for public use from march 1st and more than 800 people have made use of this newly renovated pool with upgraded facility and amount more than 1 lakh has been collected as fees.

The pool opens at 5 am every morning & will be open till 9.45 am with 5 shifts having a time duration of 45 minutes per shift. Later, the swimming pool opens at 3:45 pm in the afternoon & will be open till 9:45 pm in the night having 5 shifts. The swimming pool weekly holiday will be on Monday. There are passes available for the use of Mangala swimming pool having various time periods including 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and a yearly pass.
