This is the Result of Heavy Rain in Bekal Fort: Know What Happened

August 13: Bekal Fort is one of the most popular tourist spots in Kasargod district. The observation post, is situated on the eastern side of the historical Bekal Fort. The Bekal Fort was built using laterite slabs and is polygonal in shape. The fort is now under the administration of the Archaeological Survey of India.
Due to heavy rain in the district for the last one week, the laterite stones of the wall collapsed due to which  a portion of the wall of the observation post of Bekal Fort has caved in.
Following the collapse of the wall, tourists visiting the fort were barred from entering the observation post.
