This is What Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary says About Providing Security to Temples: Read

November 4: Minister for Muzrai, Fisheries and Ports Kota Srinivas Poojary said that the government is committed to providing security to all the temples coming under the department of Muzrai. Minister Poojary said the deputy commissioners of the respective districts have been asked to convene a meeting with the police to initiate measures on security.
He mentioned that there has been a rise in the theft of gold ornaments and statues from temples, it has been decided to provide security to the temples that are not financially strong. There is no shortage of funds for strengthening security at Kukke Subrahmanya, Kollur and Kateel temples. He said priority will be given for improving basic facilities at Kukke Subrahmanya. A meeting will be convened within 15 days in this regard.
