This Museum in Kundapur Gives a Clear Picture About Art of Yakshagana: Check Out

March 5: Bhandarkar’s Collge in Kundapur had established a Badagu-Badabadagu Yakshagana museum ‘Aavartha Yaksha Vedike’ two years ago inside the college.  The museum gives more stress on the art is attracting Yakshagana lovers. Artefacts of Yakshagana made from Clay mould and various photographs draws the attention of art lovers.
Various types of face masks of numerous characters that appear in Yakshagana like Gandharva, Karna, Arjuna, Krishna, Shalya, Subhadre, Prabhavati, Kamsa, Hanumantha, Kiratha, Brahmana, Jambava, Abhimanyu are kept in the museum. Detailed explanation about the costume and its importance is available in the museum. There is a permanent dummy of Yakshagana stage of Badagu style in this museum.
