This Teacher From Bantwal Creates A New Record: Swims One Km in Sea in Padmasana Position

December 18: Nagaraja Kharvi Kanchugodu, a teacher at higher primary school of Kalmanja in Bantwal taluk has created a record in India Book of Records. He successfully established the record by swimming one km in the Arabina Sea near Tannirbhavi in Padmasana position with his legs tied by chain within 25 minutes and 16 seconds. He started the feat at 8.55 am from the shore and returned back to the shore at 9.20 am.
Nagaraj has earlier bagged two gold and one bronze medal in the national level swimming competition that was held in Vadodara of Gujarat in last January.
