Tiger Dance Competition in Mangalore Today: Sixth Edition of ‘Pilinalike’

October 7: Sixth edition of ‘Pilinalike’, the tiger dance competition will be held today at Mannagudda volleyball ground at 11.30 am. The contest is organised jointly by Dakshina Kannada District Youth Congress president Mithun Rai and Namma TV.
The winners of Pilinalike-Tiger Dance Competition will get Rs 2.50 lakh, Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively. Along with this, Rs 30,000 each will be given to the best performing cub, ‘black tiger,’ ‘tiger that throws Akki mudi, beating ‘tase’ (drum), and costume. Each performing team can hav e 15 persons and each team will be given 22 minutes to perform.
