Tiger Dance Competition in Udupi: Here are the Details

August 20: In order to mark its silver jubliee year celebrations,  Tiger dance team–Ashok Raj Balaga will organise a Tiger dance competition. Ashok Raj Balaga was launched in 1995 and has been taking part in Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations. The team has performed in different parts of the state and across the country.
Balaga President Ashok Raj Kadabettu said that around 15 teams are likely to take part in the competition which is scheduled to be held on August 23 from 2 pm to 10 pm at Brahmagiri Junction in Udupi. He also mentioned that the winners will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 30,333, Rs 20,222 and Rs 10,111and the best dancer will also receive an award. Along with this, consolation awards will be given to all participating teams. LED screen will also installed to offer a better view of the tiger dance to the public.
