Timely Intervention by Police Saves Life of a Youth: Swift Action By The Officers is Worth Appreciation

Timely intervention by Mangalore & Udupi police has saves the life of a person in Udupi on June 2. The youth who was in severe depression because of family-related problems had booked a room in a private lodge in Udupi where he allegedly slit his wrist with a blade and informed his friend in Mangalore. The friend immediately alerted the Mangalore Police Control room who passed the message to Udupi Police. The town Inspector Pramod Kumar and his team rushed to the spot on time and rescued the depressed youth. The Police shifted him to the hospital for treatment and it is learnt that he is now out of danger.

The presence of mind and timely action taken by the police was appreciated by the public.
