Traffic on Mangalore – Bangalore Highway Near Mani Suspended as Gas Tanker Topples

February 2: A gas tanker which was moving from Mangalore towards Bangalore has Topples at Mani near Surikumer Mosque. The traffic has been temporarily suspended on the Mangalore – Bangalore Highway and an alternate diversion has been has been arranged for the movement of vehicles.
Vehicles moving from Mangalore to Bangalore should use Kalladdka Vitla Road, whereas the vehicles moving from Bangalore to Mangalore will have to use Mani, Budoli, Kabaka road.
The technical team which controls the gas leakage has arrived at the spot, and are taking precautionary measures. The nearby residents have instructed not to use fire for sometime.
