Train Between Bangalore-Mangalore-Karwar Cancelled on August 12, 13 & 14 Due to Landslip

Due to landslips between Sakleshpur and Ballupete the South Western Railway has cancelled several trains on August 12, 13 and August 14. Trains cancelled on Monday, August 12, and Tuesday, August 13, are as follows:

Train no. 16595 KSR Bangalore – Karwar Express, train no. 16585 SMVT Bangalore – Murdeshwar Express, train no. 16586 Murdeshwar – SMVT Bangalore Express, train no. 07377 Vijayapura – Mangalore Central Express Special, train no. 16512 Kannur– KSR Bangalore Express; and train no. 16511 KSR Bangalore – Kannur Express.

Train no. 16596 Karwar–KSR Bangalore Express, train no. 16516 Karwar- Yesvantpur Express and train no. 16575 Yesvantpur- Karwar Express have been cancelled on August 13.

Train no. 07378 Mangalore Central – Vijayapura Express Special has been cancelled on August 13 and 14, it said in a release.

Train no. 16586 Murdeshwar – SMVT Bangalore Express, which commenced its journey from Murudeshwar on Sunday, August 11, was short-terminated at Mangalore Junction, and its service between Mangalore Junction and SMVT Bangalore was cancelled.

Train no. 07377 Vijayapura – Mangalore Central Express, the journey which commenced on August 11, was short-terminated at Bagalkot, and its service was cancelled between Bagalkot and Mangalore Central.

Train no. 16512 Kannur – KSR Bangalore Express, which commenced from Kannur on August 11, was diverted via Shoranur Junction, Podanur, Erode, Salem, and Bangarapet Junction.

Train no. 16511 KSR Bangalore – Kannur Express, which started from KSR Bengaluru on August 11, was diverted via Bangarapeta Junction, Salem, Erode and Shoranur Junction.
