Trains Services Between Mangalore & Bangalore Stuck Again Due to Landslip: Five Trains Regulated

The movement of trains on the Bengaluru-Mangalore resumed on August 8 after the tracks between Sakaleshpur – Subrahmanya Road, that were affected by landslips were cleared.

Trains services between Mangalore and Bengaluru has been stuck between Sakaleshpur and Alur since Friday, August 9, 2204 night due to landslips on the stretch. Hundreds of passengers have been stranded. They have requested that the railway officials make alternative arrangements for their travel. The railway staff have begun the work to clear the debris. According to a release issued by South Western Railway, the staff made arrangements of food and tea for the passengers at the stations. The restoration work is under progress.

KSR Bengaluru-Kannur Express (16511) has been stopped at Alur. SMVT Bengaluru – Murdeshwar Express (16585), has been stopped at Hassan.

Murdeshwar-SMVT Bengaluru Express (16586) has been stopped at Sakleshpur. Kannur – KSR Bengaluru Express (16512) has been regulated at Sakleshpur.

Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Super-Fast Express (16596) has been regulated at Donigal.
