Travel Restrictions By Kerala Government: Passes & Medical Checkups To Continue At Talapady Checkpost

August 25: Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra said the rules for COVID-19 pandemic have been revised and passengers entering Karnataka from other states need not undergo quarantine and there will be no checks at border points. Dakshina Kannada district administration has opened all its borders for passengers from Kerala, the Kasaragod district administration is continuing with the pass system for those who commute daily to Mangalore.
A protest was staged at Talapady checkpost seeking relaxation of travel rules by the Kerala Government which is continuing with passes and police personnel are also stopping vehicles for medical check-ups.
