Residential Refresher Course in the Temple town of Dharmasthala

The Managalore Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India hosted a Two-Day Residential Refresher Course in Dharmasthala on March 16^th & 17^th (Sat & Sun) at Aananda Wellness & Resorts, Nidle. Over 90 Chartered Accountants took part in the event which was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLC Shri Prathap Simha Nayak as the Chief Guest. On this occasion MLC Mr. Nayak said “The role of Chartered Accountants in shaping the economy is unparalleled & emphasized CA’s as architects in Nation Building. Further, he stated that such a professional event happening first time in Dharmsthala is most welcome & wished the event all the success.” Guest of Honour Shri K. N. Janardhan, Managing Director – SIRI Dharmasthala also stated on the occasion “CA’s play the role of growth engine, as they are responsible for identification of right taxes & remittance of the same to the exchequer of the Government. Post the GST regime, collection of taxes are at all time high & it is purely the hardwork of the CA fraternity which has ensured the same.”

The highlight of the event was the Address by Shri Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade Ji, Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala at the SKDRDP Auditorium wherein they stated “CA’s are the silent support system in the growth of the country. The role of CA’s have transformed from mere auditing in the past to a lot of other areas, thereby making them integral & instrumental in any business or organization.” Dr. Heggade Ji blessed all the Members present & wished them the best for their future. Dr. Heggade Ji was felicitated on this occasion by the Managing Committee of the Branch for their immense contribution in the social, economic & religious field.

Gautham Pai D. welcomed Pujya Dr. Heggadi Ji to the occasion & said “From philosophy to philanthropy, from Community building to Nation building, from religion to Rajya Sabha, Dr. Heggade Ji has seen it all & has been everywhere. Their life is a testimony & synonym to righteousness & service.”

The event had 4 techncial sessions from domain experts & also visits to Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala, Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple & Sowthadka Mahaganapathi Temple as a part of the event.
