Udupi DC Implements Additional Measures to Control The Spread of Covid: Click For More Information

Udupi district Deputy commissioner M Kurma Rao M has directed the officials to implement additional measures till further orders to control the coronavirus pandemic.

As per the orders, the number of people who can gather for meetings and celebrations are limited to 500 observing Covid protocol. The organizers will be responsible to maintain the guidelines. The cultural activities and celebrations of educational institutes should be postponed till January 15, 2022. The parents of school children below 18 years of age should compulsorily get vaccinated with two doses. Only people who have obtained two doses of vaccinations can be permitted inside malls and film theatres.

The DC warned that criminal action under disaster management Act 2005, Karnataka epidemic disease Act 2020 and IPC section 188 will be taken against those who do not observe the directions.
