Udupi District is Well-Equipped to Tackle Third Wave of Covid: These Measures Are Being Taken

Udupi deputy commissioner (DC) G Jagadeesha said that the district administration has taken measures to tackle the third wave of covid if any. The DC mentioned that a meeting has been conducted with health experts on measures to control the situation during the third wave. Under the Vatsalya programme, health checkup was conducted for 2.40 lac children.  Nutritious food is being provided to the children who are suffering from malnutrition with regard to preventing the third wave affecting children. Measures are also taken to increase the number of beds in ICU.
