Udupi Kedara Kaje Rice Will Soon be Available Online Too: More Information

Udupi Kedara Kaje rice promoted by the Kedarothana Trust headed by Udupi MLA K Raghupati Bhat, will soon be available online. The trust has successfully cultivated 900 tonnes of paddy on nearly 1,500 acres of fallow land in the Udupi assembly constituency limits. The rice will soon be available online under the brand name ‘Udupi Kedar Kaje’. Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai will launch online marketing of the rice.

The farmers who left their paddy fields uncultivated for decades, were convinced to resume agriculture activities by extending support to commence organic cultivation and for transportation of paddy seedlings, and to harvest crops.
