Unauthorized Shops, Vehicles Parked on Footpath Cleared & Fine Imposed in Udupi

Udupi City Municipal Council officials along with traffic police carried out a raid on December 2, Thursday and cleared unauthorized shops which created traffic inconvenience. The traffic police also cleared the vehicles parked on the footpath and warned the riders not to park the vehicles on footpaths.

Fines were imposed against the unauthorized shops. The shop owners have been warned that if rules are violated, the license of shops will be cancelled. Plastics were also seized from the shops. The officials also cleared petty shops from the footpaths near city and service bus stands and imposed fines.
