Unlicensed & Unauthorized Vehicles Plying on Road to be Seized: New Rules in Udupi

Regional transport officer (RTO) JP Gangadhar informed that the vehicles plying on roads without a permit, timings, and vehicles that were not released after surrendering the document will be seized. Any vehicles should not use names, symbols, or emblems above the number plate and the owners who violate the order will be penalised. He also mentioned that action will be taken against private buses, KSRTC, maxi cab owners, and drivers who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19. Those found working without masks will be facing strict action as per the law.
