Viral Video of Former Minister Ramanath Rai: Trollers to be Booked

August 16: A video of Former Minister Ramanath Rai travelling by boat which was  made to look like immersion ceremony of Lord Ganesha in a derogatory manner went viral on social media.
The video was captured when Ramanath Rai had recently gone to visit the flood affected people to infuse confidence in them. The trollers had morphed and edited the video with derogatory remarks about Rai. They have even circulated the morphed video in all social media platforms.
The Congress committee has filed complaint in the rural police station in Bantwal alleging that derogatory video has been circulated in social media by miscreants.They even mentioned that the video clip has also mocked the Hindu gods and religious sentiments of the people.
The complainants have asked the police to immediately identify the people behind this video and see that they are punished.
