Wearing Mask While Going Out Is Mandatory: Violators To Be Fined, Said DC Rajendra

September 24: Dakshina Kannada District DDC KV Rajendra said that the use of the mask is mandatory in all rural, urban local bodies and municipalities in the district. He mentioned that wearing mask and maintaining social distancing is a must in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, markets and all other shops.
The DC said that everyone has to wear mask while going out and anyone who is found without wearing a mask will be fined. Any shop owner who is not wearing a mask and not maintaining social distancing will be fined Rs 1,000 for first time, Rs 2,000 for second and third time Rs  3,000. General public will be fined Rs 200 for not wearing a mask while going out.
