Weekend Curfew to be Imposed Even in Udupi District From Friday 9pm to Monday 5am

Udupi district Deputy commissioner Kurma Rao has ordered to impose weekend curfew from 9 pm on Friday September 3 to 5 am on Monday September 6. As per the order there will be no permission to run pubs during the curfew. The stadiums will be open for athletes for practice by following Covid-19 guidelines. All types of public gatherings are prohibited whereas, marriage or other functions will be allowed with 50% occupancy of the halls, but strictly following the guidelines of the government. Bus service, railways and airways will function as usual. Taxis or cabs travelling to the airport, railway station or bus stand will be allowed. But, the passengers should possess their travel ticket with them. Public movement is completely restricted during the night curfew, except medical services or other essential services. Those people who are working in night shifts, in the factories or companies, can travel displaying identity cards.
