Weekend & Night Curfew Imposed in Border Districts Including Dakshina Kannada

Weekend & night curfew has been imposed in the Kerala and Maharashtra border districts of Karnataka – Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar; and Belagavi, Bidar and Kalaburgi – and the duration of night curfew will be advanced by one hour from 9 pm to 5 am instead of the present 10 pm to 5 am throughout the State with immediate effect. Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said that a detailed order regarding this would be issued soon.
