Wenlock viral video: Two arrested

June 19: An injured man was taken to Mangalore’s Wenlock hospital for treatment  but was unattended for more than one and half hour. This triggered anger among his friends. A video was shot by a person which was later uploaded on social media. The video was regarding the injured person, the hospital staff in which the person was heard abusing the doctors with filthy language. The video went viral on social media and became the talk of the city.
The medical officer of Wenlock Hospital Dr H R Rajeshwari Devi has registered a case at Pandeshwar police station against the person who shot the video and abused doctors. The Mangalore City police have arrested two people for unruly behaviour at the Wenlock Hospital. The arrested are Nithin and Deekshith Shetty. They were remanded in judicial custody.
