Wholesale Business Not Allowed at Central Market: MCC Commissioner Issues Strict Guidelines

Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) commissioner has directed the officials to oversee that stores other than those selling essential commodities are not supposed to function from 6 am to 10 am according to the orders by the state government with effect from 9 pm on April 27.
The wholesale business has been already shifted to Baikampady APMC Yard and nobody has permission to conduct business near the Central Market. Several roadside vendors, wholesalers and of people who are flocking in groups at Central Market completely ignoring Covid guidelines. MCC commissioner has directed officials to oversee that are sold to people in a decentralized manner at the Central Market while social distancing is followed.
