Work on Multi-Level Car Parking Project at Hampankatta to Resume Again: Much Needed

The multi-level car parking project at Hampankatta, which was temporarily paused due to certain reasons. The remaining work on the project will progress soon.

The Smart City team has made an important step forward by starting excavation for the project. The company, which initially faced challenges that halted progress, is now showing increased interest in moving the project forward quickly.

This project is being executed under a BOT (build, operate, transfer) contract, where the contractor funds the project and completes the construction. Once the building is operational, the contractor will manage it and collect rent from consumers, paying a specified amount annually to the local administration. After 30 years, the building will be handed over to the local authorities.
