Yakshagana Academy Invites Application From Veteran Yakshagana Artists For Monthly Stipend

September 14: The Karnataka Janapada And Yakshagana Academy has invited applications from veteran Yakshagana artists for monthly stipend.
A press release from the academy stated that artists who are 58 years old or above can submit their applications with a certificate of achievement, Aadhar card copy, Photo and a letter from Tahasildar stating that the artist is not receiving any old-age pension from the State. The artist must not have an annual income exceeding Rs 1 lakhs.
The application must be attested by the Assistant Director of the Department of Kannada and Culture.
In Dakshina Kannada, applications will be available at the Department of Kannada and Culture’s office in Tulu Bhavan at Mangalore.
